| CANON UPDATING |
All canon updates will mean the character will not be able to located for 3-5 days. Their D-Terminal signal will be jammed and their Digivice location unreadable. They will have been thrust between this world and their own the same way they arrive (in the Terminal Room). You must wait at least four months before each canon update. The Digital World spent a lot of energy bringing you here, it would rather not have to do it constantly! |
Canon Update request for 12/21/2013
Canon: Original
Current Point: 17/18 years old, four months after a falling out with her family.
Future Point: 25 years old, seven years after choosing to become a Guardian for the Demons instead of the humans.
Changes?: Roze will be older and moderately more mature, insofar as she can be, all things considered. She's scarred physically and emotionally from years of fighting and protecting others, and has lost a great deal of her optimism, replacing it with pragmatic realism. For a little while she'll be angry, but she'll eventually warm up to the idea of being back. The only truly permanent changes are a complete lack of her youthful, naive hope for a happy ending to the conflicts back home, prompting her to be more concerned with helping the Digital World for the sake of others instead of herself.
Edit - Forgot that physical changes would be long tufted "elf" ears and a long prehensile tail with a big, fluffy pom-tuft at the end as well, provided those are acceptable physical changes.

Current Point: post-Season 3 finale
Future Point: just after the Season 4 episode "Bats"
Changes?: Fluttershy will have more knowledge of things that have happened back home, experiencing all the adventures she's had with her friends up until the most recent one of trying to assist both Applejack and a horde of vampiric fruit bats. Particularly because of this last adventure, she will be trying to gain a little more confidence in herself, having learned that there are times where it is necessary to stand up for what she believes in to even her closest friends.
Upon her return, she will also be bringing with her a journal where she's begun to write down important lessons she's learned, and events that have happened. She will also have a small physical change of slightly sharper canine teeth, left over from having turned into a vampire fruit bat-pony hybrid.

Changes?: Waver will be ten years older and look much different to reflect it. While still very much himself at heart, Rider's influence will have had time to settle in as a deep sense of diligence and the eradication of whatever cowardice might have been left over. Having taken the title of Lord El-Melloi II and risen to the position of a well-respected teacher, Waver has largely become bitter and cold--but with a temper very like that of his teenage self. While still a good person at heart with equally good intentions, Waver has become considerably abrasive and sarcastic as well.
He's turned into the sort of person devoted to his work and operating mostly upon logic rather than emotion, but despite that he carries a largely unspoken-of love for video games. Between that and his dedication to work and research, one could probably say he's become somewhat reclusive--favoring his own company over that of his students and especially over that of his fellow teachers.

Saori’s new canon point would now be set six years later from her current point. For the longest time, she always wanted to have children of her own while her husband, Tenjou, did not. One day, Saori saved a child from a mononoke attack and the girl clung onto her until they were home. Tenjou tried to convince both of them that adoption wasn’t an option but he eventually caved in. While they did spread word of the missing girl, there weren’t much leads to follow up on. A few months later, the girl’s parents eventually did show up on their doorstep. After a tearful goodbye, Tenjou decided they should have kids. A month later, Saori is pregnant and gives birth to fraternal twins, who are now 5 years old.
Having children was always something Saori wanted. Her motherly instincts are put to the test. She insisted on raising her kids herself, despite the tradition of deities having other their children raised by others. One of the biggest things she learned is to have faith in others and not fall into helicopter parenting. She realized that’s where she might have gone wrong with raising her little brother. While she has the desire to mother those who are close to her, she’s learned to give them more space.
She'll have a photo of her with her new family to bring back to the digital world.

Changes?: The war is over, Cybertron is restored, so Arcee doesn't have as big of a rush to hurry back. The most noticeable change would probably be a slightly more upbeat personality and confidence boost. ...Slightly. She's still pretty much the same bot her friends know and love.
